While serving in the United States Navy and stationed in San Diego, he arrived on base to the sound of house music echoing through the air—another defining moment that deepened a connection that would become a lifelong calling.
Known by friends and fans alike for his relentless love of the culture, DJ El Chupacabras built his path from the ground up, always a fan of the music first and a DJ second. His dedication caught the attention of respected DJ and mentor DJ Rocky B, who recognized his potential early on. She encouraged him to chase his dreams seriously, guiding his development and sharpening his skills behind the decks. When she knew he was ready, she introduced him to legendary DJ, producer, and industry pioneer DJ Georgie Porgie—founder of The Music Plant Group, one of the longest-running dance labels in the world, a global radio personality, and a driving force behind the “The Love House” international movement. Georgie saw the same fire and authenticity that Rocky B had nurtured and continued the mentorship, welcoming El Chupacabras into The Music Plant Group family and helping him secure his first radio platform.
Today, DJ El Chupacabras continues to expand his global presence with a show simulcast on NDCRADIO.CO.UK and streamed live on TikTok every Sunday from 10 AM CST to Noon.
